Job Introduction

One of our reputed clients is seeking physically active and detail-oriented Import Operations Assistants – Receiving & Dispatch Support to assist in the execution of import shipment handling, including receiving, checking, sorting, and dispatch preparation.

Job Description

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM

• Assist in receiving and unloading import shipments at designated locations.
• Support accurate counting of boxes, parcels, and pallets during receiving.
• Verify received cargo against shipment records and report shortages or mismatches.
• Assist in weight checking and immediately report discrepancies.
• Support prompt pasting, label checking, and shipment identification.
• Sort shipments accurately into home delivery and branch delivery categories.
• Assist in dispatch preparation, loading, and movement of shipments.
• Maintain proper handling and arrangement of cargo to avoid damage.
• Report damages, shortages, or operational issues without delay.
• Provide timely updates on receiving, sorting, and dispatch status.
• Ensure all tasks are completed following operational guidelines and instructions.

Job Requirements

• 0–1 year experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or dispatch support (preferred).
• Basic understanding of receiving and shipment handling processes.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate counting ability.
• Ability to identify damages, shortages, and mismatches.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Physically active and able to handle operational workload.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a disciplined manner.
• Honest and responsible with strong reporting discipline.
