The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing channel strategies, strengthening distributor relationships, expanding market reach, and driving sales growth across distribution channels.

SALARY: Up to LKR 800,000 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement channel development strategies to achieve business growth and sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution networks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
• Monitor channel performance, sales trends, and market developments.
• Develop strategies to improve product availability, market penetration, and distribution efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to achieve business objectives.
• Analyze sales data and prepare performance reports for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve channel productivity and profitability.
• Support promotional activities and trade marketing initiatives.
• Monitor competitor activities and recommend appropriate channel strategies.
• Ensure effective execution of channel plans and achievement of assigned targets.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in channel development, sales management, or a related role.
• Experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of distribution networks and channel management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• Ability to lead initiatives and achieve business targets.
• Good knowledge of market trends and sales performance analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant reporting tools.
• Relevant academic or professional qualifications in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field are preferred.
