Job Introduction

One of our reputed clients is looking for detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executives to manage financial operations related to import and local transactions. The role involves handling accounting processes, financial documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Description

• Maintain accurate accounting records for import and local transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups with suppliers and customers.
• Prepare invoices, debit/credit notes, and payment vouchers.
• Handle import-related financial documents such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Bills of Lading.
• Process and submit bank applications for LC, TT, DP, and DA payments.
• Verify and record import-related payments including freight, insurance, duties, and clearing charges.
• Reconcile supplier statements, bank statements, and ledger accounts.
• Assist with customs documentation and ensure compliance with import regulations.
• Monitor shipment payments and track outstanding balances.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for import/export records.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Assist with tax-related work including VAT and import duties.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation.
• Ensure timely payments to overseas suppliers and local service providers.

Job Requirements

• AAT completed or qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in import/export operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Hindi is an added advantage.
