One of our prestigious clients in Sri Lanka, operating in the Travel & Tourism industry, is looking for an experienced Operations Executive to join their team. Candidates should have relevant experience in inbound tour operations, travel coordination, and tourism-related services, with the ability to manage daily operational activities, coordinate with hotels and suppliers, and ensure smooth travel arrangements and excellent service delivery. POSITION: Operations Executive SALARY: LKR 150,000 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and coordinate daily inbound tour operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate travel arrangements, tour itineraries, and guest activities.
• Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, tour guides, and other tourism-related suppliers.
• Handle hotel reservations, transportation arrangements, sightseeing activities, and other travel requirements.
• Prepare and review tour itineraries, operational schedules, and travel documentation.
• Communicate with overseas travel agents, international partners, and local service providers.
• Monitor ongoing tours and ensure all arrangements are executed according to confirmed itineraries.
• Handle operational issues, last-minute changes, and customer requests efficiently.
• Ensure timely coordination of airport transfers, accommodation, excursions, and other guest services.
• Monitor service quality and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of confirmed bookings.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, operational expenses, supplier details, and tour schedules.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all travel arrangements comply with company procedures and client requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in travel and tourism, preferably in inbound tour operations.
• A qualification in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Travel Operations, or a related field is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lanka's tourism industry, destinations, hotels, and travel services.
• Experience coordinating tour itineraries, hotel bookings, transportation, and travel arrangements.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with hotels, suppliers, tour guides, and international partners.
• Good knowledge of travel operations and customer service procedures.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Good computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage operational documentation accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
