A reputed restaurant chain in the Maldives is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to assist in managing kitchen operations and ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to maintain food quality standards.
• Ensure proper preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals.
• Manage food inventory, storage, and stock rotation.
• Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and food handling practices.
• Contribute to menu planning and innovation.
• Ensure smooth coordination with service staff for timely food delivery.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role in hotels or restaurants.
• Culinary degree or relevant professional training is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines and modern cooking techniques.
• Previous GCC or international experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage kitchen operations under pressure.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
